I am the same! I've been wanting to write a post about letting go, as well. There are things in my life that I want to let go of, but it's taken me months to realize that I want and need to let go of it. And then the actual act of letting go can take some time. Sometimes it's swift, like the wind, and other times it's such a long process. I think sitting with whatever you want to let go is key, really feel it and then allow it to dissolve naturally.
What a beautiful post. I, too, struggle with imperfection and this post makes me want to be myself, unapologetically!
Thank you so much for reading this post and looking at the rest of my work! I'm glad this piece was able to speak to you.
As a lifelong prisoner of perfectionism, I’m painstakingly trying to let go and sink deeper into myself 👽

You’re right, it’s very normal that sometimes something is hurting us but we’re too blind or used to it to realize.
I love the concept of letting the things that don’t serve us anymore dissolve.
